Install Gemini on Windows without the guesswork

Install the official Gemini desktop app on Windows safely, check requirements, and avoid unofficial download links.

Google released its official Gemini desktop app for Windows on September 10, 2026. Download it only from Google's desktop page—this site does not mirror or repackage the installer.

Install in four steps

  1. Open the official Gemini desktop page.
  2. Select Download for Windows and save GeminiSetup.exe.
  3. Open the installer and follow the on-screen steps.
  4. Launch Gemini from Start, sign in, then press Alt + Space to test the overlay.
Safety check: the address bar should show gemini.google. Avoid third-party EXE mirrors.

Before you download

You need Windows 10 or later, an x64 or ARM64 processor, 8 GB of RAM, at least 200 MB of free storage, internet access, and a Google Account that can use Gemini.
